emotional health

So the past week, the winter blues were really starting to get to me... it being so cold out, not being around my friends or family, and just working and studying all weekend were not a good combination. I decided I needed to amp up my emotional health, because after all that is part of living a healthy lifestyle. So I decided that this week, I would do something good for myself every day.
Monday- got a manicure
Tuesday- went to visit my cousin for the night
Wednesday- I'm still at my cousins, and tonight I'll go to church group
Thursday- If I get all the studying done I need to, I'll go to a free show on campus by this awesome band called Best Coast
Friday- I work 2-8, but after I'm driving home for the weekend.
Saturday- I'll be with the family, and will go do dinner with friends that night.

So far, it has worked really well. Just goes to show you, when you get down, you need to take action to bring yourself back up again!
